The Track Returns

Following the end of the second lockdown period, the Club’s track sessions will resume on Tuesday 8th December.

As before they will run from 6.00 to 7.00 and will be led by our coach Geoff Watkin.
Attendance will again be strictly be by invite only and we will operate a rota system to ensure that all those wishing to participate get an opportunity.

Those wishing to take part will need to read and sign the Code of Conduct, which can be found here (Download Code of Conduct), which sets out a series of simple rules which need to be followed to ensure compliance with the Risk Assessment, (Download Risk-Assessment). You will need to bring a signed copy of the Code of Conduct to your first session back at the track otherwise you will not be permitted to participate. Members who have previously taken part in the sessions will have to sign the Code of Conduct again as it has been updated.

Key requirements set out in the Code include the need to use the eastern car park adjacent to the 1500m start and hammer cage, rather than the car park to the front of the Sports Centre.

The track must be entered from this car park, adhering to the clearly marked one way system. You will also need to ensure that you bring your own sanitiser to the sessions.

Please note that the Sports Centre is not currently staffed and none of the facilities will be available. There is however a portaloo facility adjacent to the track which can be used.

So that we can plan the sessions, can those interested in participating please email Rowland Sillito: runleaders@rydeharriers.co.uk
