The Hampshire Cross-Country Season 2014/15

Ryde Harriers have been represented by a ladies and mens team in all of the Hampshire cross country league fixtures this season. The overall results show the men’s team finishing 3rd in division three.  Individual results show Tom Blackwell in 44th position, Les Cupis in 60th, Andy Keehn  in 98th and Andy Leal 103rd position overall. Les Cupis finished 23rd and Andy Leal was in 58th position in the veteran men’s individual aggregates. Tom and Andy Leal have represented the club in all of the five fixtures this season with Ken Beak, Tom Hill, Brian Warren, Simon Joy, Jay Tuck, Adam Tuck, Pete Young and Stephen Lee also in attendance.

The women finished  7th overall in the team positions with Sarah Kavanagh in 20th place, Julie King in 40th, Rosie Eldridge in 47th and Elaine Parry in 49th position in the individual aggregate results. Julie King was placed 20th in the veteran women’s individual aggregates.  Rosie Eldridge finished in 26th place closely followed by Elaine Parry in 27th place. Elaine and Sarah have attended all of the fixtures this season. Charlotte Pacey, Philippa Daley, Mary Norman, Emily Scott, Lauren McIntyre and Sam Fancourt have also represented the club throughout the course of the season.
